PAS600 too many active connection

Hi @Romain_Polette , @Guillaume_Evrard

Do you know how I know what IP Addresses are connected to PAS600?
I found a condition where too many active connections are visible in the server connection information

ahmaddedi_2-1758629237953.jpeg

This causes the CPU usage to be high up to 100%. The effect is that communication between PME and Power Meter becomes intermittent.

FYI,
In addition to PME, we have a PLC that is also connected to the Power Meter via PAS600 using Modbus RTU.

I'm looking for a way to find the root cause of the problem that is causing CPU usage to be high.
Hope you guys can help me.

Hello @ahmaddedi ,

Unlike PowerTag Link gateway, this seems not possible to know the Panel Server opened TCP connections.

Romain_Polette_1-1758631797513.png

Maybe in the technical logs ?

PME will open only one socket on Panel Server port 502. This will be the same for your PLC.

Panel Server support up to 64 simultaneous Client TCP connections. What are the other Masters connected to your Panel Server ?

What is your current FW PAS600 version ?

Regards,

Hi @Romain_Polette ,

"Maybe in the technical logs?" - Where is this?

"What are the other Masters connected to your Panel Server?" - As long as we know only PME and PLC that connected to Panel Server. That's why we want to trace possible another IP Address that connected to Panel Server.

"What is your current FW PAS600 version?" - Currently we use lates firmware 2.3

Hello @ahmaddedi,

PAS 2.3 supports max 64 modbus tcp connection to the server as shown on the interface I would say sockets.

Perform a full log of your PAS to get logs and diag data. You should be able to see details in log or diag (system.log or diagnostic_modbus or diagnostic_net. I would suggest to raise a case by contacting CCC.

This is the number of sockets, might be an issue where the connection is not closed properly.

Kind regards
