When will there be more native drivers for the Com X 510 so we can show data nicely on the Monitor tab. Even if we make custom devices we should be able to display them in the monitoring tab with dials and standard tabular data. It is not pretty to add custom devices to the gateway.

Thanks for your feedback on custom devices.
The Com'X510 has over 150 devices supported. Can you be specific about the drivers that are missing?

Bobbie:
I believe that I am at the newest firmware for the ComX 510. Didn't count but it does not look like 150 devices that are supported and can be displayed in the monitoring page.
Customers are still running the following. Here is a short list.
Original Enercept,
Original BCM meter
PM600 series
CM2000 series
CM100/200 series
810D Trip Unit (Very old)
We would like to see all of these but the 810D is a now rare bird. Would it not be a mater of taking the standard template and reworking the registers and data type to add these devices?
Since we can make custom devices, why can't we do this and have them show up in the monitoring tab if it is electrical?
It asks for what the quantity is going to be. It would be nice if it populated the standard table and dials with what ever we build that is electrical. If a meter doesn't do what is in the standard table it could show an * as a holding place indicating that that is not in the driver.
Thanks,
Michael Franz

Bobbie:
I look at the Com X 510 as the Gateway Drug (Pun Intended) of the PowerLogic world. Get them hooked on the need for data and BOOM hook them on PME when the really need it. Just missing too many legacy meters at this time.

Any thoughts on the drivers we requested?
