If you have reseted the password, that means that you have found the 2 buttons and pressed them during 10 secondes
If you want to factory reset your Com'"X 200, you must do the same thing, but during a "Power On"sequence
In others words :
Power Off the Com'X 200
Press the 2 button, and
Power On the Com'X 200, maintain the 2 buttons pushed during 10 sec until the power LED flashes 3 times.

Hi Jef,
Another feedback from SI is about on-site security.
If someone can just press on the reset button to reset password, people can easily export the configuration from ComX 200 to deploy in other sites.
Since the configuration is SI's intellectual property, they are very concerned about others' accessibility to the configuration.
Any security layer we can add to this?
Thank you
Sincerely,
Abon

The answer is in the fact that normally the Com'X 200 is supposed to be locked in an electrical cabinet, where only electricians can access.
I agree thats is not perfect, but it is the story used for this device.
If you consider devices such as Cisco switches or routers, there are always a "Forgotten password recovery" procedure available,
This procedure often requires to have a physical local access to device.
Regards
Jef
