How to connect and setup communication setting on CM3000 using EGX300?

Dear All,

How can I connect and setup for communication setting on EGX300 into CM3000?

Once I have tested before, I used 2 wire cable to connect serially from EGX300 to CM3000, set ID address, baud rate and also parity on CM3000 with same on EX300 ,  then I run feature "Discover". But, EGX300 cannot detect anything.

I hope all you guys can share the information here.

EGX300 User Manual is the first step.

If you are sure about wiring, then another way to check if your CM3000 is properly connected, is by reading its registers:

- either from Diagnostics page > Read Device Registers

- or with a ModbusTCP Client software (ModScan, Mobus Poll, PMCModbus, etc...) from EGX300's IP and CM3000 SlaveID

If you can't read (timeouts) it worth checking:

- EGX300 Settings > Serial Port > Transmission Mode: Automatic, Response Timeout ...

- wiring

- terminators if any

- dip switch settings on EGX300
