Hi there community,
Setting up two water flow meters (1L per pulse) into the two digital inputs atop a PAS600L (Fw Vers 002.003.000, Hw Vers 002.000.000).
Attached are screenshots for the DI's configuration, sampling settings, and monitoring data (inc advanced).
water is not turned on to site yet, however I believe I should simply be able to bridge the DI input terminals to simulate a pulse, however for the life of me I cannot see any data coming back in conducting this test.
Is there some setting I'm missing or am I testing inefficiently?
Any help appreciated.

Hi there,
By bridging the input directly you are acting as a dry contact. The PAS600L requires external excitation for this in the form of a 24V DC power supply. See page 10/20 of the install manual attached.

Please see link to water meters installed onsite.
I note they are rated 6v switching . Possibly a stupid question, does that mean we cannot send 24v to the pulse meter or am I misunderstanding the 6v rating?

Hello @BrettWabbis ,
It seems your reed switch is not compatible with 24 VDC (6 VDC). So you cannot connect your pulse meter directly on the PAS600L power supply.
Check if :
Many other water meters are using a 24 AC/DC compatible reed switch.
