Good afternoon,
I'm experiencing an issue when trying to read a custom meter model using the Panel Server Entry (PAS600) with firmware version 002.003.000.
The meter model was created using Modbus Function 04 (Read Input Registers).
I tested it using ModScan, and the registers are read correctly. I also tested it directly through the PAS600 in the Registers Read section, and the values are displayed as expected.
However, in the Monitoring and Control section, the values do not appear — it only shows "No data".
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a known limitation when using only Function 04 in custom models on the PAS600?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello @sesa102217_brid
If using a tool and using the modbug diag tool embeded inside the PAS you are bale to get data it might be an issue with the custom model ( are you sure that your frames are OK) ? Would suggest you to build a custom model with only one measurement which is being OK with diag tool. See what you have. Pay attention that custom model is using address whereas diag tool in PAS or Modscan are using register Number (+1).
Kind Regards

Hi, Guillaume.
Yes, I’ve already performed all the necessary tests and confirmed that the addresses are correct. In fact, the meter for which I’m developing the driver has registers accessible via Modbus function code FC03, and I was able to successfully read a specific register as a test.
However, I’m encountering issues when trying to read via function code FC04, where the main measurement values are located.
Thank you in advance for your attention.

Hello @sesa102217_brid ,
I understand your main problem is :
I know that Custom Models using FC03 "ReadHoldingRegisters" can display data under "Monitoring & Control" section of the custom device. I cannot tell for models using FC04.
@Eric_HAVAS any known limitation between FC03 and FC04 for custom models ?
Regards,
