first, what is port number for EGX100?

seconde how to make restore factory settings ?

EGX uses port 502.

For the reset question it is possible to connect to the meter using specific cable (sold separately, TCSEAK0100) and connect to using hyperterminal. For more details about this I would suggest looking in the knowledge base or contacting your local support.

The EGX100 essentially has several ports depending on how you view what a port is in the world. There is an Ethernet port, an RS232 port and an RS485 port. What Charles is referring to is that Modbus uses virtual port 502. Please explain your application or difficulty and I will try to help. Even better provide a drawing with your question and I will SEE what we can do for you.

The EGX100 is a nice little tool that can perform many tasks. Let us know what you are doing and I am sure you will get assistance.
