Does Panel Server support ION and IEC 61850 Protocols?

Hi All,

When I check the architecture for Panel server, I can see that basically PAS support Ethernet-based protocol (both as server and client), and ION meters and protection relays are also listed in the figure. Wondering does that means PAS support ION and IEC 61850 protocols? Thanks

It is locks PAS800 not support IEC61850. Only Modbus. However you can configure P5 with IEC61850 and Modbus TCP at same time and via same communication port. P5 support up to 3 protocols at same time. PM8000 connection check in Used guide on page 67.

I have older ION7330 on Modbus-RS485 that I am trying to pick up.  Given that the new PAS600/800 don't support ION protocol, what other alternatives do I have? EGX150 seems to be still active and available to purchase.  Would EGX150 still be available 3-5 years from now?

LINK150 /EGX150 will be stopped and will not be available 3 to 5 years from Now. PAS600 is the replacement for Link150.
