Com X 510 Scares Customers Away

When is this going to be addressed?  This warning make this item nearly impossible to sell due to the browser warning.  We noted this months ago and have not heard back what the solution will be.  None of the other Schneider-Electric web driven devices that we have used has this issue.

gateway510.jpg

There is also the custom device that do not show up on the monitoring page and all the missing Schneider meters that are not in the driver list.  One would hope that the ComX would support all currently sold meters and most legacy devices.

Fix these items and we can really promote this product.

Hi Michael

You can just remove the "Force HTTPS" check mark. Then it's possible to access the Com'X using HTTP on port 80 without any warnings.

Best regards, Michael

Michael:

That fixed it.  You are the first person I have run into to know this simple fix.  Now we need more native drivers for existing and legacy meters so they can show up under the monitoring tab like this meter on our building main.  You can make custom devices but I do not know how to get them to show up on the monitoring tab.

Thanks,

Michael

I'm glad I could help I agree that the real-time data needs some work.

Bobbie Meredith, will we see more native drivers or the possibility to get custom devices into Real-time monitoring anytime soon?

Best regards, Michael

Michael:

Asked about this month ago.  You were the first and only with a solution, a simple one at that.  I also asked for the real time data several times.  That has not been answered yet.  If appears that with so many product, they go part way and just stop.

Thanks,

Michael Franz
