Is it correct that when selecting the GPRS "USB" connect method.... you lose the seperate ethernet connectivity on the dual RJ45's on ComX 510 and they revert to being 2 x RJ45's wired in parallel?

The statement is true in a sense. When using GPRS the two selections are GPRS Only or GPRS and Switched Network. There is no selection for having GPRS and 2 separate Ethernet ports.
When in GPRS Only mode the Ethernet is set up for 2 separate ports, but they share a common default router IP which is that of the GPRS network. This limits the ports to connect to ip devices directly or via a switch. No connection can be made connecting to a network where the devices are behind a router.
