why DCO unable to send emails to the user while trying to add customers

1. Please provide the DCO version you are currently working on.
2. Is email notification working for other scenarios, such as work orders and normal user creation?
Would be a good idea to check email setting in Desktop client->System setup->email setting.
After entering details, click on "Test" and check if you get a success message as shown below. Email notification Usually works for all scenarios when the settings are correct.
