values missing in ddf

some sensors are missing in ddf of UPS and InRow units but they available over snmp. can i somehow  add those mibs to existing ddf file or i need to get an updated ddf.

As far as I know, any changes needed in DDF file or adding the  additional sensor values to the DDF files, please email to Multivendorsupport@apcc.com as they can update you the same based on your request.

Hi Shaf,

As Balaraman stated, multivendorsupport would be the team to contact to add additional info to the DDFs for any devices. MIBS can not be added to DCE outside of what is included from the MIB in the DDF. I can say that you can't really have a custom version created for an APC DDF as upon upgrade of the system, we also upgrade DDFs which would potentially overwrite the one you had edited.

Engineering chose the values in the DDF specifically and although there are more values available, it was decided to use these to keep the overhead created by all the values gathered to a minimum. This is not to say the DDF s wouldn't be updated just to say why they had been limited to what you see. 

Please also note that for numeric values, there is also an option for supplemental OIDs. This would add the value to any unit that supports that OID. Text responses do not work for this option.
