Hi. Sorry did not realize I had hit send so soon. Sorry for that. I am trying to upgrade virtual DCE 7.2.6 to 7.2.7 and it seems to finish phase 1 but after the restart the server starts with an error indicating it can not access its data in the webpage and I am unable to log in with the client. Like some database services do not start correctly. After I am restart the virtual machine the server starts normally but always in DCE 7.2.6.
It never seems to start the upgrade phase 2 after the restart in phase 1.
Thanks and regards
Saethor

Hello, It sounds like something may have gotten corrupted during the upgrade. Do you have a backup that was made prior to attempting the upgrade to 7.2.7? If so, I would recommend restoring the server to 7.2.6, import the backup and then upgrade to 7.2.7. This way we are starting for an untouched clean know working state. I would also recommend run an MD5 checksum to ensure that the download is good. You can use WinMD5 which is a free download. Thanks Victor

Hi. I both tested the upgrade file on a new VM expert and that worked fine. I also did a new restore on the VM from before a week before I started the original upgrade and I still have the same issue. It seems like the some files are corrupt or some service does not start after the first reboot during the upgrade. I may have to recreate a VM from scratch and use config backup to get this running normally.

Hi. I have uploaded files after my last upgrade test. Both the log files and some snapshot. Can these files give any idea why the upgrade fails? Thanks and kind regards Saethor
