I have a customer who wants to swap out a Netbotz 500 unit for the Netbotz 570? Is this an easy swap out and do the configs on 500 model compatible with Netbotz 570? Or is it a complete new configuration?
Thanks

Hi Gary,
The 570 will work with the older camera and sensor pods. If you have sensors plugged into the 500's docked pod, you may want to un-dock it and connect it to the 570 via USB as the older sensors can't directly connect to the 570, the need the sensor pod.
You can not take a backup (configuration) from one NetBotz appliance and import it to another. As noted in k-base FA176136, the sensor and pod IDs are dynamic so the config can not associate the sensors. You'll have to manually configure the 570.
