import to DCO information about connections

Hello!

please, help me.

How can i make import informations about connections between DataPanel and Switch or Switch and Server?
i have xls file (in attachment) , but DCO gives me messege "Error":

You must specify the name of the model or the product ID

I use DCO with Russian Language.
where do i must write the name of the model or the product ID? in which column?
the same problem with the connection Server Power Port and Outlet PDU.
i can make import only with Assets(Rack,server,...), but import connections - big problem)
thank you!

Hi Evgeny,

I hope I'm not disappointing you,  but the equipment importer (from an excel workbook) is not a useful tool to perform network or power connections. It may be used for the first time equipment import, but otherwise please notice that it will overwrite the existing equipment. The feature itself is hidden (and officially not supported) and basically designed for internal use/tests.

So it would be really good idea to run a manual backup before doing any tests.

Kind regards

Jef, thank you for answer.

Yes, I agree that the import good use for the first time. but, How to be if there is a data center with 30 000 connections ( some 400 rack, 2 datapanel in rack, 2 server in rack....) may be 2,3,4 data centre ...

How make connections for this equipment? if i make connections manually, i work (or another people) 1 month or longer:)

Hi Evgeny, My pleasure and many thanks for your comments. I understand that implementation of large installations can be very time consuming and might need more hands (which is usually the case to my knowledge). However, Schneider Electric offers also proportional services to help customers with implementation (details, service fees, etc. can be discussed with the Professional Service manager), Kind regards
