I want to update the data in DCO but if i will update one by one selecting templates through genomes, its going to take lot of time

Hi Waseem,
I was wondering perhaps an integration through ETL might be the feature you were looking for, which is currently supported in DCO:
External system integration through ETL
The integration might be complex (depending on the tasks) and may require some programming skills. However, it can also be offered as service - for details, possibilities and cost you might want to contact Guillaume (Vigneron Guillaume ), who is in charge of the service team, thanks.
Kind regards

hello jef
thanks for your feedback
I'm not talking about the etl integration
My question is importing the data from excel sheet to DCO
Suppose we collect the updated data from physical data center like racks, switches, servers etc and then manually update in DCO ?
So is there any feature to import that data from the excel sheet to dco ? we cal it i guess CSV import ?
PS: it will be time saving.
Thanks

Hi Wassem,
You are welcome - that's right, that would be the so-called equipment importer (or excel importer). Using/enabling this feature requires that customers/users have been trained & warned about its functionality and its limitation(s). It is important to note that its best use might be for the first time usage (importing of equipment), it will overwrite the exciting data! (not suitable for device update).
Kind regards
