Hi Daniel,

We can at least in two ways verify the backup status:

1) verify via Webmin

Server Webmin, Status page would also display the status of the last backup job:

2) check the backup location

In the backup location, additional to the backup file itself (*.tar.gz) there would also be a confirmation file (*.completed) to state that the backup was completed:
