Dear experts,

I'm currently  bidding for a project, the customer has some request about advanced search I'm not sure if we can realize via DCO API:

The request is :"The system shall have the ability to limit search criteria - begins with, contains, ends with, or is equal to". My thought is that the customer wants an advanced search function to search like date range. I'm wondering if it is feasible by inventory or custom property web service? 

Plus, does DCO's 'search device' function provide some search criteria, like '*', '%', 'and', 'or', etc.

Hi Ziqiang,

As illustrated in the following image, actually all columns in equipment browser is searchable, that would give you a sort of advanced searching possibilities. You can also configure columns:



It is possible to use Boolean operators AND, NOT and OR in the search field. This can be useful to further scope down your search.
