Dear Experts,
One of our customer wants to use the function 'automatically put server to the rack' in DCO's capacity management. However, they have one requirement is that each rack should not deploy more than 12 servers. The spare spaces would be reserved for future usage.
Could DCO provide such function or is there a workaround?
Thanks a lot,
Ziqiang

Hi Ziqiang,
Currently the supported option is to add a number of assets/servers to "Best Rack", "Each rack in room" or "Selected racks".
I would enter that limiting number (say 12 servers) during the asset provisioning, otherwise there is no option to set an additional constraints. However you are most welcome to post a feature request here: Feature requests
A little tip concerning the reserved spaces, you might want to use non-powered devices (such as patch panels) to occupy/reserve the U space for future usage (they might be called something like "Reserved space" and could be easily spotted in for example Equipment Browser.).
Hope this helps.
Kind regards
