alert mail overflow on DCE

Hello,

When we have an output relay alert onto a Symetra PX UPS, we receive thousands emails (every second) until the alarm is cleared onto the UPS. Notifications configuration includes a state threshold in the notification policy but is configured to send an email only once until the alert is solved.

Did you already have this behavior ?

Hello,

I would suggest rebooting the DCE server. We've seen issues like this in the past where if the server is up for about a year (a little over) that issues such as this have been seen. A reboot of the server will resolve it if it's the same issue.
