Hi

when I go into 3D view in Data Center Operations 7.4.5 on my Oracle VM Windows 7(64bit)

it instantly close the application without any error message or warning

Hi Steffan,

3D view performance is mainly related to the system specifications. Check if you meet them:

http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/SWDCDOC/Specifications+and++Guidelines+for+Server+Installations?q...

It's recommended to have a 1GB graphic card installed on the server(resources of your VM) to experience acceptable performance of the 3D view & related features.

Hi Steffan, The client requirements can also be found here: http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/UAOp74/System+Requirements#SystemRequirements-ClientMinimumRequir... The problem you experience seems to be related to the graphic card driver being used. Once in a virtual machine however we would expect to use software rendering instead of hardware rendering. The situation you describe however indicates the software rendering is not starting properly. Please share your application.log file found on your client pc in the folder C:\Users\\.isxo\7.4.x.x.x\Operations\application.log for us to further investigate the problem.
