It is possible to create custom modified equipment based on existing library items.
Quick answerIf your product is not in the Genome Library, you can add a generic piece of equipment, of the same type as the equipment you want to add, to your Genomes and then configure it to match the specifications of your equipment.

The Genomes properties should just be left blank. The property is used for linking the Genome to a power profile. However since the device is not in Genome Library already then there are no corresponding ID.
