I cannot access the server management interface

I know there is a web based server management interface, where do I find it?

The server management interface is accessed using the configure server link found on the server homepage http:// or directly using https and port 10000  https://:10000

If you cannot access the Webmin server management interface, check your browser settings.

For example, in Internet Explorer 9:

• Open Tools>Internet Options>Privacy and select to Accept All Cookies.
• Open Tools>Internet Options>Advanced and make sure JavaScript is enabled.
• If needed, contact your IT department for policies, etc. possibly preventing access.

Version specific

If you are running a StruxureWare Data Center Operation version prior to 7.2.5, you may run into this issue:
Internet Explorer 10 (Windows 😎 does not accept security certificates less than 1024 bits. Webmin versions distributed with DCO prior to 7.2.5 use 512 bit certificates. A temporary workaround is to force Windows 8 to accept 512 bit certificates using the following command from the command prompt with administrator's rights:

certutil -setreg chain\minRSAPubKeyBitLength 512
