So this might sound odd, but I have several of these units unused that never went into production and at a new facility we don't have raised floors. I know they make ACFD12-T which is top fed, and outlets are top facing, but since this isn't a powered item, and it's essentially just a pressurized distribution item, what would prohibit me from turning it upside down and using it as a top fed and top output cabinet? I can't seem to see a reason this won't work since the top and the bottom have holes for in/out main headers and in/out for each AC unit.

Joshua,
It seems from the pictures that the frame is not designed to be put upside down and may not support the weight of the unit properly. Also there are components that need to be used in a correct position, such as a drain pan. Flipping the units over would most likely void any soft of warranty that they have.
There is also a separate forum (forums.apc.com) which is intended more for cooling and other APC products, which aren't DCIM (NetBotz, DCE, DCO, BO, Portal, & PME) related products.
Best Regards,
Cory

Thanks Cory, I posted here because it's part of the structureWare line of products, the old forums have been disabled, and simply forward here now. I was thinking the drain pan could easily be removed and put onto the otherside, but I wasn't sure if any of the components would have an issue being turned around. Your correct though, the frame probably is the one area of concern...
