Hi,
My users cannot change their own password for DCE - as they are not administrators. I can administer passwords from my end however for remote users this doesn't seem very secure that I have to set a password for them that cannot be changed.
Is the ability to change your own password a possibility in either the DCE Application or Web Browser, without needing administrator privileges?
Thanks!

Dear Sean Hilliar,
From your question:
Is the ability to change your own password a possibility in either the DCE Application or Web Browser, without needing administrator privileges?
Unfortunately for the latest version of DCE-7.x this is not possible.
I can only recommend you to create an appropriate Feature requests on this issue.
With respect.

Hi Sean,
The password reset procedure can be performed if you have local access to the DCE server.
The steps are outlined in the document from the link below:

I hope this helps.
Regards,
Justine

Hi Sean,
as was mentioned in the previous replies, users directly added to DCE can not change their passwords. DCE does have an LDAP/AD integration feature where the domain users password is changed at their login on their computer and that change directly effects their DCE login.
Thanks,
Steve.
