Unable to open the DCO 7.5 Client by Host Name

Hi, 

The DCO 7.5 Client opening perfectly based on DCO Server IP Address.

But its failed to open using with DCO Host name as assigned.  

From Network Team, The Host name already mapped with local DNS servers and Destination Client Access PC for the following ports as requested..

80 http
443 https
4457 tcp
4460 tcp
4459 ssl
4462 ssl
53 TCP

DCO Hostname not working with DCO Client.

DCO Host name working with Browser

DCO Server - Hostname webmin settings

Please advice what else to be required to activate for DCO 7.5 Client access based on Host name.

Hi Venkat,

It would be interesting to know what the "ping hostname" would return, and the result of nslookup on hostname.

This might be a proxy related issue - it seems there is a direct route to the server when using the IP address, but it is routed through a proxy server when using the hostname. The connection timeout error might be an indication that possibly a proxy server is not permitting the traffic.

Thanks Jef. After added the DCO IP address and Hostname entry in Windows Host file, able to login the Client using Host name.
