Hi Support,
We are trying to discover rack pdu's (AP8858EU3) in remote branches of a company using snmp v1. As per our request the client allowed communication for port 161 (across firewall) for the specific rack pdu IP's and we are also able to ping the devices.
But when we try to discover the rack pdu's it is showing idle. I am sharing the Trace route and ping results from DCE Server below:
Ping to IP: 192.168.11.80
Trace route to IP: 192.168.11.80
The client firewall team informed us that from their side everything is fine, and so please advise if any more ports need to be opened for the remote pdu's to be discovered?
Thanks
Shemil

Hi Shemil
Have you checked SNMP is enabled on the rPDU/s, configured to permit the IP of the DCE (or all IPs) and you have correct community string (defaults to "public")?
Cheers
