Jef Faridi
Dear Jef
We have sensors on upstream level on MDB'S ( Main distribution Board) and they are integrated as well and linked with the DCO
Now the customer is asking to check the cost/ calculation for 1 month based on the sensors ?
can you pls suggest how can we calculate the cost for that entire data center
Thanks

Hi Waseem,
I guess you/customer might be looking for the so-called Energy Cost reports, that can be generated to calculate the cost or running specified equipment used for charge back and efficient budgeting. For more detail please see the following page: Energy Cost Report
Energy Cost report(s) would require Energy Cost license being installed.
Kind regards

Alternatives:
Assumptions:
Alternative 1: Manual (excel) way
Generate monthly DCE summary report for the Energy sensor of the digital power meter.
Summary report will provide you minimum and maximum. The difference (max-min) is the energy consumed for the month.
Multiply that by cost ($/kWh) to get your energy cost.
Alternative 2: Automatic thru custom dashboard getting data from DCE's web services.
Get relevant energy reading from DCE via DCE 's web services, store, calculate and display it as separate web page.Either use 3rd party dashboard or custom develop such dashboard.
