Toshiba G9000 UPS with EMD

Hello all

I have a DDF created by APC for the G9000 v1 Remote Eye 4 card. It reads fine but does not read/pickup the EMD (environmental device) attached to it. I have looked though the MIBs provided by Toshiba and the MIB for the UPS does not have any OIDs for the EMD. But they do have a MID with readings for the EMD but that MIB has nothing for readings from the UPS such as input and output voltage and the like.

My question is "Is it possible to join these two MIBs together into one, and get a a DDF from that? or add the OIDs from the one that has them to the DDF for the G9000?

Really I only need 3 of the OIDs added they are as follows.

.1.3.6.1.4.1.186.1.19.2.5.254.5.1.0 - "The name assign to specific EMD."

.1.3.6.1.4.1.186.1.19.2.5.254.5.2.0 - "The EMD temperature."

.1.3.6.1.4.1.186.1.19.2.5.254.5.9.0 - "The EMD Humidity."

Hi

A quick solution is to use the supplemental OIDS function as follows:

You can choose the sensor type from the drop-down menu.

Or you can submit a DDF request for the corresponding DDF.

Just an FYI, supplemental OIDs do not work with text based values so the name won't work.

Thank you I did not know that we could add supplemental OIDs. But sadly that did not work as the readings are without decimal like the reading for temperature is 600 in the OID but the real value is 60.0. Also they do not offer Fahrenheit as a reading on Celsius. But at least the humidity percentage I could add. It looks like the only way is to edit the current DDF to include these values.

In truth I was unsure if they could combine MIBs as the readings came from two MIBs for the same device (I really do not understand that one. But now they are charging for DDF creation for 3rd party devices. Of which I have asked why I am paying for support on nodes but it is not covered in that.

Anyways Thank you for your help.
