Whilst trying to edit a few different network routes via the text editor I get the following error messages;
All strucutred connections are in and OK (have been for quite a while)
This has only happened since the upgrade to v8.0.2
(I have removed device names from the screenshots)

Hi James,
Concerning the "front to rear notification" - I think this is a design related notification, per design patch panels are assumed to be connected back to back (ex. through the network properties (Connect to ...) on the patch panels) before using the rack editor. For additional connections that would involve front-to-rear or rear-to-front etc. it is recommended to use the network connection tool.
Concerning the "not a valid port notification" - The configured network-ports on the device/patch panel seems to be occupied already and apparently no possible to make additional route and therefore a "not valid port" notification seems to be displayed.
Thanks,
Kind regards
