It appears I have a corrupted DDF file for a 'TTK FG-Net' leak detection system. Is there a newer DDF version for this device?
I'm running StruxureWare Data Center Expert v7.4.1, which we recently updated from v7.3.1. In addition our Modbus devices are intermittently showing 'loss of communications' on our StruxureWare server.

Hi Eric,
Updating the DCE version should have triggered this issue. Deleting the device and initiating a fresh discovery should usually work. Also note that when you delete and discover a device, you will lose all the sensor history.
The latest version we got for that DDF is version 2. You got the same version?

Punith,
Thanks for your answer.
Initially we deleted device and began a new discovery. The device stayed in the initialization phase for quite some time. We took note that we upgraded the firmware to v7.4.1 on DCE and thought the DDF may need to be re-added, or perhaps would require a newer version (because of the firmware upgrade). Therefore we removed the DDF and tried to re-add ttk_fg-net.xml (v2). The DDF now will not populate in the list and therefore we cannot re-discover the device.
On another note, we have a few Power Meters (also ModbusTCP) that have lost communication. In your opinion, may this also be attributed to the recent upgrade in firmware. This is a bit concerning if that's the case as we need to keep our history. We do have backups and should be able to load them onto another server if need be.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated, Punith!
Eric

HI Eric, Can you please send me the DDF file which you had in DCE server prior to adding "ttk_fg-net.xml (v2)" ? I need to see the DDF file to come to a conclusion on the root cause for this issue. Also, the other power meters that have lost communication. Was this issue before or after adding "ttk_fg-net.xml (v2)" ? Regards, Punith

We replaced the TTK FG-net and therefore had to re-add DDF initially. The LDS worked for about a month or two with DDF v2 until the firmware upgrade. Here was the most recent DDF file used:
The power meter issue occurred only after the firmware upgrade, and to my knowledge, shouldn't have anything to do with the TTK FG-net DDF as the power meters have their own separate DDF.
Thanks!

Hi Eric, Going with the scenario you said. I can't think of a possible reason where a DDF is causing this issue. I can say that this issue is more related to DCE and would suggest you to contact the Schneider Technical Support. Punith
