TSXETG100 and NB200

Hello All,  I am new to using the TSXETG100 and have created a little test environment to convert from a Netbotz 200 RS485 Modbus serial output to the TSXETG100 and then using a tool called MODSCAN32 (but there are lots around) to view the Modbus registers.

The NB200 Modbus registers state that they range from 000h (0dec) to  0344h (834dec) but while I don't get any read errors (Modscan is saying it polling OK) I don't get any meaningful information from the TSXETG100.

I believe I am polling the NB200 correctly but I cannot interrogate any of the right registers (they all return 2 except for 40001 which returns 2.

Can someone point me in the right direction for a MODBUS/IP tool to read the registers in the appropriate range?

Thanks
Craig

Hi Craig!

In fact, you need to increase register number by 1 in order to obtain right information. So if you want to receive model name, for example, you need to start polling from register 40278 instead of 40277.

I think that your issue is related to results interpretation by Modscan software. I recomend you to try another one. I use CAS Modbus Scanner.

For find it out you can go to Diagnostic page of TSXETG and see what values are received by gateway.

For example:
