Symmetra PX branch circuit monitoring in DCO not available

We have twelve PX100 units with attached modular PDU and breakers. The branch circuit monitoring is only available for the first breaker in DCO. Also, none of the PX100 branch circuits are available in any Modbus interface, when using the AP9643 NMC with latest firmware. Is there some way to separate the UPS and PDU of a PX100, with separate IP addresses to allow remote monitoring of the branch circuits on the PX100? Since there is no way to install a NMC at the base of the modular PDU of a PX100 (there is a slot for it but no card edge connector or power or rails), is there a software update, patch or Modbus registry change to allow this? The PDU is physically continence to the back of the UPS at the bottom circuit boards, but can these two (PDU/UPS) be separated into individual devices in software to allow branch circuit monitoring? We don't want to install a dedicated server with DCE, a gateway or other kludged together system. Schneider should simply enable this as a standard item for these amazing UPS systems. Any help on this?

Hello @mfortier_1,

As this post is older I am hoping that you reached out to support for assistance or found a solution.  Feel free to outline for others what the solution to your issue was to help others that may be experiencing similar issues.

Data Center Expert does not have any way of splitting out a single devices sensors (a single IP Address being monitored via SNMP or a single ModbusTCP Server) into multiple devices.  I do not believe that this is possible on the device side as well if the components of having an NMC are not present.

In regard to the modular PDU sensor mapping, I would recommend reaching out to technical support so they can investigate further with this particular unit in ITA to see what is possible if you are still experiencing issues with the sensor mapping.

Kind Regards,

Cory
