I have installed a generic switch gear to power my switchboard for my master breakers. (switch gear is a red box, the switchboard the green boxes) Issue is, the switch gear can't have breakers added, and the switchboard requires breaker information under the power dependency tab. How else do I show my switchboard as receiving power if I don't use the switchgear power output?

Hi,
This looks fine. Switchgears are usually found in electrical rooms which are responsible to supply power at Infrastructure level & not at the rack level. For this reason, Isolators are deployed at Switchgears & not MCBs. Swtchgear usually deals with Busbar level coupling & decoupling & not associated with any breaking mechanisms, however sometimes they might be associated with Air Circuit Breakers. I think this design in DCO works well!

Hi Chris,
As already discussed. In general DCO is currently not capable of understanding power connections going into the UPS and in general the power connections above the UPS level therefore also cannot be modelled. It can be modelled in terms of physical presence and to some extend connections however it will be limited as you experience.
In this case I would recommend using the generic power panel as you already have used and then add custom properties to document the connections.
