Sensors of InRow RC gen2 are not visible in DCE (ACRC301s)

Hi,

I have a set of devices discovered in DCE (up-to-date, v7.2.7) and everything is working fine except for my 4 InRow RC gen2 (ACRC301s):

  • devices are correctly discovered and appear in the device list
  • the name appears correctly in the list: Cooling device
  • but when you right-click/View device sensors, then you got only 2 sensors: Device Status RC (value = Normal) and Link Status (value = Online)

The firmware of the InRow is also up-to-date (AOS 6.1 and acrcGen2 6.1) and the SNMP value are default (v1 is enabled).

Is this a problem of definition file?

How should I fix this,

Thanks in advance,

Mehdi

Hi Mehdi,

Whenever there is a lack of information but the device discovers, it is likely due to a DDF issue. For this specific case, you need the DDF for this device. In the future, you may want to go to multivendorsupport@apcc.com as they create DDFs. For this issue, I happen to have the appropriate DDF.

It works, thank you so much. I suspected a ddf problem but I expected to find the file on the APC website, since the ACRC301s is an APC product but I did not find it. Thank you again, Mehdi

Welcome, not sure why it has not yet been included in the DDF download option but I will ask that it be addressed.

I have the same issue with ACRC301S, can you send me lastest DDF file?

Kind Regards,

Hi Joao,

please see my previous response as it has a link to the DDF. If that one isn't working, use:

help.se-dmaas.com/devices

you can find DDF files there and request those that are not available.
