Sensor value change after FW upgrade
I have upgraded the firmware of a 3 phase SURT20000 to 6.2.0 and since then the following sensors are now showing unplugged in DCE.
- Main Input Voltage - Phase 1
- Main Input Voltage - Phase 2
- Main Input Voltage - Phase 3
- Main Input Phase Orientation
- Main Input Frequency
- Main Input Current - Phase 1
- Main Input Current - Phase 2
- Main Input Current - Phase 3
- Bypass Input Phase Orientation
- Bypass Input Voltage - Phase 1
- Bypass Input Voltage - Phase 2
- Bypass Input Voltage - Phase 3
- Bypass Input Frequency
I have another identical UPS that is on DCE at version 6.0.6 FW. This one returns data for the above values but does not have sensors for :
- Input Frequency
- Input Voltage
- Input Voltage (Max)
- Input Voltage (Min)
The UPS at V6.2.0 FW does have these 4 sensors.
My questions are:
- Is this normal behaviour between the 2 FW versions?
- What exactly do the 4 Input sensors mean on the V6.2.0 FW. Is this an average / max / min of all three phases?
- If these sorts of changes are going to occur between FW upgrades, is there anywhere that lists the changes between firmware versions?

Hello Garry,
DCE showing a sensor has being unplugged indicates that the UPS is no longer providing data from that specific SNMP OID. It is possible that the newest firmware add or omit SNMP OIDs. Which may be the reason these devices have different sensors. I would recommend contacting our UPS technical support team to determine if the sensors in questions have been removed. Here is North America, the technical support phone number is 800-800-4272 press 5 for technical support then 4 for 3 Phase UPS.
