Hi team, I do have the following question regarding the powerlogic_8xx.xml file,
ddfid="powerlogic_8xx"
ddfname="PowerLogic 800 series"
ddfversion="1"
Customer is using this DDF to monitor his PM 800 powermeters, all is working fine except we do notice the following, within the DCE client we have for example Apparent Power showing a
value of 62.000 kVA, this value is provided by using the register value 1151, apparent power, total, type: integer, 16 bits,
would it be possible to change this into register 11752 Apparent Power, total, type: float, 32 bits.
And not just this register but all integers that have a counterpart as float. See attached registermap.

Hi Cees De Vogel,
From my understanding, this seems to be an update request for Schneider Electric PowerLogic PM800 DDF. To process your request further, kindly raise an update ticket for this DDF through DCIM Support->Device Support.

Hi Divya, hmm, strange, that is what I have tried but that page tells me this, if you encounter issues with a existing device support file, and this is the case then raise you're question in the community

Hi Cees
We are working on improving the process of requesting changes to existing DDF files, and it will be possible on our website within short time I expect.

Hi Cees de Vogel,
I'm interested in this topic: do the indications of registers 1151 and 11752 differ? If different, how? Can you show in the example above the indicated power meter?
With best regards.

The problem is caused by the fact that by default, the float data storage option is disabled. Check this KB article to enable this option:
