I changed the SNMP V3 auth and encryption passwords for rPDU's on DCE and now the communication connections are broken. Can I fix via DCE or do I have to delete and re-add all devices?

Hi Richard,
If you've changed the strings in DCE but not the devices, you need to set the passwords on the devices. This can be done by accessing the device itself or by pushing a configuration to the device if it's an APC SNMP device. The configuration is done using ssh or ftp.
If you've changed the device but not DCE, you can go to the "Device" menu, then "SNMP Device Communication Setings", and "Device Scan Settings". Choose an IP or group of IPs and hit the "Edit Device Scan Settings" button. You should be able to change strings here. If you were to change from SNMP version 1 to SNMP version 3, you could also follow k-base FA158442. Please note that such a change will also reset the notification policy to default as per k-base FA225529. This is not an issue if changing passwords, only if changing from version 1 SNMP to version 3.
Thanks,
Steve
