Modbus data from DCE 7.4.0

This is the feedback from my customer I received when they are trying to extract data from Struxureware using Modbus:

“For all RPDU units we have discrepancies in data between (DCE Expert or Web Services and Modbus interface) :

• For instance, when we have an apparent power in DCE expert or Web Services = 0,35 we have only 1 digit in Modbus = 0,3
• Same for power factor : real value is 0,88 then Modbus value is only 0,8 (seems not rounded but truncated and the result is meaningless)

There is even more discrepancies on cooling systems (Inrow Full racks RC50) for which we had to get all data from Web Services.”

Is there anyone that have done the same experience ?

Sorry for late feedback but the PDU's sre AP8886 and the coolers are ACRC502.

I need to check what kind of modbus software they are using.

Hi,

The modbus software that pull data from DCE is a PI server. The customer use “PI Interface for Modbus Ethernet PLC” from Osisoft.
