Running DCO 7.5 Client on a VM

Hello,

I have a user who successfully installed DCO 7.5 on a Windows 7 VM, sitting on a MAC (Yosemite) laptop.

However, he is unable to login due to java based errors, indicated by the log file from his VM.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Sean I guess they are the selected lines from the"Application.log" file, right? It seems the application is unable to start up - would you mind to share the client application.log file with me (it might contain more info). DCO MAC client (for OS X) is currently supported, I was wondering if this user have tried that? Kind regards

Hello, Based on these errors 2016-01-19 13:39:56.991 !MESSAGE Could not locate JAAS Configuration with name "other", verify that the configuration exists and is non-empty. !ENTRY org.eclipse.osgi 2 0 2016-01-19 13:39:57.241 !MESSAGE One or more bundles are not resolved because the following root constraints are not resolved: !SUBENTRY 1 org.eclipse.osgi 2 0 2016-01-19 13:39:57.241 !MESSAGE Bundle file:C:\Program Files\StruxureWare Data Center Operation 7.5.0\application\dropins\org.eclipse.swtbot.go_2.0.0.536-dev-e35.jar was not resolved. !SUBENTRY 2 org.eclipse.swtbot.go 2 0 2016-01-19 13:39:57.241 !MESSAGE Missing required bundle org.junit4_0.0.0. !ENTRY org.eclipse.osgi 2 0 It would appear that the application can not find required jar files in the client file directory. The reason for this might be due to the following reasons 1. The user does not have the correct levels of permissions for the application to read the files 2. The bundled files are not stored on the customers PC but stored on a network share 3. The download for the client installer was corrupt and missing the required bundle files Please see the URL below for instruction to modify the config.ini file to point to the correct location https://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/UAOp74/Changing+the+Location+of+the+StruxureWare+Data+Center+Ope...
