I have multiple PM750 power meters monitored via a EGX300 MODBUS gateway. All the value in the ECO StruxureIT gateway are being returned as W instead of KW. Is there anyway to change this?
Also - when you have multiple power meters on the same MODBUS Gateway how can you tell which meter is which when the alarms configuration page only shows the IP address?

Hi Garry Priestland ,
Thank you for your question!
Currently, the Gateway will automatically scale the values based on magnitude. Once the values hit over 1000 Watts in your case, it should change to kW. We do realize that this is not an optimal solution in all use cases and is something for which customers may have a preference. We'll look into making this more customizable in the future.
Regarding, the modbus address display within the inventory and alarm views of the Gateway UI, this is currently a limitation when multiple devices are behind a modbus rtu-> tcp converter as highlighted in your screenshot. This is also something that should be improved, so we're looking to change this in a future Gateway UI update.
It's worth noting that in the IT Expert web UI, the fully qualified IP Address + Modbus address are both displayed, so you can differentiate multiple modbus devices at the same IP through this user interface. Generally speaking, the IT Expert UI is our primary means for user interaction, so it would likely be the first place to include a preference for units display as well.
Thanks,
Brian Behbehani

Thanks for the response.
I understand that the issue with the MODBUS ID is not an issue on IT expert, however I was trying to set up thresholds alerts on the gateway for when current on the power meters goes above a certain level. I can't set these thresholds from IT Expert so it really needs to be in the Gateway too.
I did try to compare the readings on the gateway to the readings on IT expert to identify which meter is which but this is not really friendly and is also prone to error on readings that only get updated every few minutes, on circuit that have varying loads. Some circuit are obvious (the main incomer) but the sub circuits are not...

Ah, I see. That's clear. I can see how that is far more cumbersome than it should be. We'll give it priority for a future release. Thank you for your feedback Garry.
