HI all,
The list "http://www.schneider-electric.us/en/faqs/FA158450/" containing Pelco cameras tested with Botzware contains alot of cameras that reached end of sale and their part numbers are replaced in the market by other PNs.
So can any body please confirm if any of the below PNs are supported, please I urgently need your support
suggested models: IMP1110-1EI , IMP1110-1 & IXP11.
Thanks
Pierre

Hi Pierre,
We try to keep k-base as up to data as possible but when it is not, release notes and other pages on the EcoStruxure IT Help Center site also note new features or supported items such as cameras or modems. As per this page:
There is only one new camera that is supported and that is:
I do not see where the cameras in your query have been tested or are supported.
Thank you,
Steve.

Hi Steven,
Thanks for the reply, however I guess I am miss understood here, all what I am saying is that the K-base contains obsolete part numbers so I have no confirmation that the equivalent new part numbers are supported !
Now I am stuck between these part numbers and dont know which to choose ? so what can I do here ?
IMP1110-1EI , IMP1110-1 & IXP11 ??
Thanks
Pierre

Hi Pierre,
No, there was no misunderstanding. Although I am aware that these part numbers do become obsolete, they are THE tested cameras. When new cameras are tested, it's usually in k-base immediately and should always be in the release notes.
The fact that Pelco implies that these new cameras are the direct replacement for the old ones does not mean that they communicate exactly the same. Early in our integration attempt, we were under the impression that they all communicated the same way. We found that each camera and firmware had subtle differences....just enough so that we had to code for each individual camera.
That being said, unless a camera model is specifically tested and listed as supported, we can not claim that it will work with the integration. The cameras you have listed have not been tested.
