Hello,
I connected several PS100 Particles sensor for several months.
The measures remain at zero.
Two solutions :
1/ No dust in our datacenter
2/ There is configuration error or bug
What do you think ?
How can i test the sensor ? Blowing dust on it ?
Thanks you for your help.
Best regards.

Hi Anthony,
Where do you have the particle sensor placed? As per the document below, it should placed on the floor, or as close as possible to the floor. You could test it by letting some dust fall in front of the sensor, but do not blow dust on to the sensor.
Make sure the lens is clean in order to ensure the reliability of the sensor. This is also discussed in the document below.

Hi Anthony,
I've not seen these sensors record nothing at all, especially multiple sensors. I did a quick test where I hooked up a sensor to a 570 running 4.5.2 andI took off the plastic side cover that is used for cleaning the lenses:
I then took a pen and ran it from lower left to top to lower right a few times. You can see where the graph shows only small particles to apparently huge ones (the pen) then back again:
Make sure the PS2 type cable is actually connected to port one on the sensor pod as your image shows (ext1) as the particle sensor. As you can see here, I have configured the pod to believe it has 2 particle sensors but only one is connected to port #1:
The port (ext2) that has nothing connected is reporting 0 p/in3 as is happening on your image. If the sensors are still not showing values on the appliance, first connect to the sensor pod using the shortest possible cable. Then make sure the sensor pod is connected to the appliance directly and use the shortest possible USB cable. You may want to configure all ports to be particle sensors and then connect the sensor to a different port every 30 seconds or so to verify the port is not the issue. If you have other older version 2 sensors you can connect, you may want to also try them to be sure the pod is not faulty.

Hello John, Steven
Thanks you for your feedback. I tested, it works from the beginning.
The two sensors wich i tested are positionned on the ground. But if I do not breath dust in front of the sensor, the valor stay at 0 or 1.
I'll think about the positionning of the sensor.
Best regards.
