Hi,
I have an "APC Modular Power Distribution Unit, 266kVA, 400A, 480V:415V Auto-transformer, 72 Pole" which we monitor via struxtureware.

Hi Adekunle,
1: If DCE loses communications with another APC device, the device itself can be accessed (assuming it is on-line) and you can view the data and event logs for information. This data however can not be imported to DCE. DCE will only put sensor data in the database for those sensors it was able to poll using the defined protocol for that device (ie. SNMP/Modbus).
2: Since you can not import data into DCE from data logs, when DCE loses SNMP/Modbus connection to a device, there is no way to avoid a loss of data or a gap in the graph created from that data.
