Tips on EcoStruxure IT Gateway installation in non-English Windows
For non-English (i.e. non UTF-8 coding language) Windows OS to install EcoStruxure IT Gateway smoothly, please remember to set Tomcat8 with "Dfile.encoding=UTF8" by adding it per below. Otherwise you may receive 404 error when navigating to https://[IP address]/gateway
- Double click on the Web Server Configuration shortcut in C:\Program Files\EcoStruxure IT Gateway ==>
- Then select "Java" ==>
- Then add "Dfile.encoding=UTF8" line in Java Options ==>
- Restart EcoStruxure IT Gateway database and gateway in Services.msc
