Auto-generate monthly report

How can i auto-generate monthly report in both graphical and table form.(i have attached a sample if the graph to be generated). We generate over 110 of these reports monthlyand it is time consuming(sometimes 3days) and tedious. We want to schedule this task on the Struxturware DCE to be generated automatically on a said date and time to save time and improve accuracy.

In current DCE-7.x it is impossible: on Feature requests already repeatedly gave such requests, and I including 😀. See for example Steven Marchetti answer on topic :

Although the exported file is a .txt, it is actually a comma delimited file or in essence, a .CSV format. As for the option of exporting a graph using (I'm assuming) an e-mail export, I have added this post to an enhancement request that already exists for this feature. I have no timeframe nor can I state that this feature will make it into the product but your post is now part of the enhancement request.

Thanks Steven, I really hope this can be sorted out soon.

My team and I are not meeting up with with delivering energy utilization report every month

You're welcome but at this time, I can not say when or even if this feature will actually make it into the product.

Alternative way:

Periodically pull those historical data from DCE to a reporting app, for it to churn out required monthly reporting in specific format/calculation. Ideally the reporting application has its own database to store those data.

DCE has web service api for developer to pull those data out:

StruxureWare Data Center Expert Web Services API

To pull historical data,

Identify the device and sensor

Device Service Methods

Then pull data using applicable services

Sensor Service Methods
