Netbotz Rack Access Control 3rd Party integration
Hi,
I were requested if it's possible to integrate the Netbotz Rack Access Control System (NBACS1356 or NBACS125) with a 3rd party Room Access Control System (e.g. a person opens the Room door with its badge and, after that, he is enabled to open some of the Racks).
I was thinking that a possible approach could be that the Room System and the Netbotz System shares the same RADIUS authentication system.
According to my understanding, RADIUS would store the associations between Racks and Users and both Netbotz and the Room system would use the same repository. All the required rules (e.g. the user entitled to open some Racks after opening the Room door) could be handled by the Room system as Master. Does it make sense?
