Good day
Is there any way of automatically schedule Advance View backup of the netbotz appliance?
I would like to schedule a backup of the appliance atleast once every month to a remote location. I have browse the configuration window and do not see an option for this.
Any help and advice is appreciated.
Regards
Juice

Hi Juice,
No, sorry, there is no auto-backup feature for a NetBotz appliance. In most cases, a NetBotz appliance is configured and left alone. A backup will then save that configuration to a file. No data is saved. If you want to save a configuration of a NetBotz appliance, just make sure you create a backup each time you make a change on the system. If you want to save the data, I suggest you use the appliance in conjunction with DCE.
This is the difference between DCE backups and NetBotz backups, DCE saves the data which changes day to day while the bot only saves the configuration. If you would like to put this in as a feature request, you can do so using the device support menu but I don't believe this is something they will be looking into.
Thanks,
Steve
