Netbotz 750 and DCE 7.8.1

Hi team,

we need to know which is the best firmware version for Netbotzs 750 connected to Data Center  7.8.1

In a customer we cannot upgrade DCE to Rocky Linux versions, because this operating system is not allowed. So we have to work in DCE 7.8.1, and we would like to know with version for Netbotz's firmware is compatible with DCE 7.8.1.

Hi @jzurera,

As an FYI, DCE 7.8.1 is no longer a supported version of DCE.  If any issues arise an upgrade to a more recent version will be required in order to fully investigate.

For NetBotz 750 performance reasons I recommend getting up to version 5.3.5 if you are not already there.

we have updated DCE to 8.1.1 and Netbotzs 755 are in version 5.3.5. We have an issue with the cameras. We discover these Netbotzs following the procedure without any alarm of certificatse or APIs, and we can see the cameras in DCE. But the option in "Server Settings" to save the clips in Struxureware Data Center Expert server is not available to set the IP of Data Center Expert for Netbots 755, only for older Netbotzs versions as in the image. For Netbotzs 75x how do we have to configure Netbotz 75x to store the clips in DCE?

Hello @jzurera,

NetBotz 750 and 755 cameras (Camera Pod 165s) integrate with DCE differently than older NetBotz Appliances.  That section is grayed out as the camera settings are polled and set automatically using the NetBotz appliances Rest API.  The settings you are referencing do only apply to the older NetBotz appliance cameras.

To record NetBotz 750 series cameras in DCE, just license the camera and ensure that everything is set up to trigger clip capture on the NetBotz appliance side and DCE should poll the images (clip) in.
