Customer is wanting to be able to retrieve historical data from the Netbotz. Initially it looksd like the view is 1 day maximum.
1)Can this be increased ie by adding external storeage ? or is syslog the only option ?
2) Is the export of data just 1 days worth or is it historical since last reboot ?
Thx in advance

Hi Steve,
If you are not using external storage or StruxureWare DCE, the historical data will indeed stay for at most 24 hours. If you use external storage, it could be retained for up to a year. If the NetBotz loses comm with the storage system however, you will lose some data and the NetBotz will reboot. StruxureWare will retain more data.
Syslog is only for logging of internal events. It does not log data such as threshold alarms or actual temperature etc. data.

Hi Steve, Yes, USB drive as well. Again however, on reboot you may lose data.
